Your Student's Optimal Lexile or Quantile Measure

Finding your student's optimal Lexile® reading or Quantile® math measure is a quick, 2-step process. By providing some general information regarding your student’s grade and state, along with the specific information for each of the assessments providing different results, The Measures Manager tool will produce a single "best estimate" measure based on the underlying properties from the selected tests.

Step 1

Begin by selecting the:

state,
student's current grade level, and
applicable framework (Lexile or Quantile).

Then, select the “Next” button to move on to step 2.

Enter the test information from the two assessments that have produced different measures. Information from each assessment includes the:

name of the assessment,
student measure received, and
date* of the assessment.

Then select the “Results” button to see your student’s optimal measure.

*Note: The date of assessment 1 and the date of assessment 2 must be within 30 days
